Do It Yourself ~ Airwick Plugin Refill

Save Money & Refill It Yourself !

Refills retail at about $4.00 to $6.00 each depending on the store. On this project it cost me pennies to refill the air freshener!

What You Will Need To Refill Your Plug-in Warmer:
- Empty Warmer
- Essential Oil Scent Of Your Choice
- 1/2 Shot Glass Full of Water
- Butter Knife
First of all, Pull the top off of your warmer very carefully. If you break it you won't be able to use it. Rinse the warmer out with hot water a few times to get the old and leftover liquid rinsed out. After that, put 10-15 drops of your favorite essential oil in the empty bottle. I used a scent called ocean. I love the smell of it. Once your oil is in fill the rest of the bottle with warm water. Make sure you leave enough room at the top for your top to fit back so it doesn't over flow. Pop the refill back into the holder. Plug it into the outlet of your choice and start sniffing!
Sniff, Sniff !

  8. You need to remove the plastic collar, too or it will swell up. Use a knife to work the plastic collar off of the jar along with the wick. (Not just the wick only.)
