Banana Bread French Toast

This recipe is perfect for weekend mornings, and it uses up any leftover banana bread you may have.
It is delicious, easy, and sweet.

Ingredients For Egg Mixture;
1 egg
1 tbl water
1 tbl milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp of ground cinnamon

Whisk above ingredients together in a shallow bowl.
This mixture was the perfect amount to cover 3 sliced mini loaves of banana bread with a total of 9 slices.
Egg Mixture.

Heat a pan over medium heat.
Melt about a tablespoon worth of butter and spread it around the whole pan.
Add your dipped bread one at a time.
I highly reccomend dipping one at a time then adding directly to the hot pan.
Cook for about 2 minutes each side or until golden brown.

Mushroom Cream Sauce

This cream sauce is perfect served over pasta with a side of salad.
It is always a huge crowd pleaser at our house.

Recipe:
~ 1 Cup of Cream or Milk
~ 2 Tablespoons of Flour
~ Salt and Pepper To Taste
~ 2 Tablespoons of Parmesan Cheese
~ 8oz of Mushrooms, cleaned and sliced

In a large sauce pan heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and sautee until soft.
Add cream or milk an gently stir.
Add flour 1 tablespoon at a time and carefully stir into cream until smooth.
Increase the heat and add salt and pepper to taste.
Stir frequently.
If you find the sauce too thin, add flour and if you find it too thick, add a little bit more flour.
Serve on top of cooked pasta immediately.

Banana Bread

This is my go to recipe for banana bread.
It's classic and delissious.

Recipe;
3 - 4 bananas, smashed up
1/3 cup of melted butter
3/4 cup of white sugar
1 egg, beaten
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp of salt
1 1/2 cups of flour
1/2 cup of chocolate chips, optional but delicious!

Mix butter into bananas.
Mix in sugar, egg, and vanilla.
Sprinkle soda, and salt and mix thoroughly.
Add flour last and mix again.
Be sure to scrap sides of bowl while stirring.

Bake in greased loaf pan at 350 degree for 1 hour.
If you have a pan like mine it only takes 25 - 30 minutes.
Use a toothpick or sharp knife to test.
